And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you."”
Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery, and he spent years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Years later, when he had the power to get revenge, he chose forgiveness instead. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay. It means letting go of revenge so bitterness doesn’t control the rest of your life.
