And God did so.”
Gideon was hiding in a winepress to thresh wheat because he was terrified of the Midianite army. When the angel called him a "mighty warrior," Gideon pointed out that his family was the weakest and he was the least in it. God didn’t choose Gideon for his self-confidence; He chose him because God would be with him. God doesn’t call the qualified—He helps ordinary, insecure people do what needs to be done.
