“The king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions' den. The king said to Daniel, "May your God... rescue you!" A stone was brought and placed over the mouth... At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried... "Daniel, has your God... been able to rescue you?" Daniel answered, "My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions."”
Daniel was thrown into a den of lions simply because he refused to stop praying to God. He couldn’t fight them off. But the next morning, the king found Daniel completely unharmed—God had shut the lions’ mouths. When you face situations that feel dangerous or out of your control, God is able to protect you and give you peace.
